Today, Google finally launched the Pixel 6A at Google I/O. The smartphone will come packed with a 4,410mAh battery, 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, Android 12, an octa-core Google Tensor SoC and a Titan M2 security coprocessor. Three colour variants will be available – Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage. The company has confirmed that Pixel 6a will make its way to India later this year.
Pixel 6a will feature a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. On the rear side, it will have a dual-camera setup that will include a 12.2MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture lens and a 12MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens. For selfies, there will be an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
Connectivity options will include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Google Pixel 6a is currently priced at $449 (approx Rs. 34,800) and will be available for pre-order from the 21st of July this year.
